Finding Pokémon

The game’s Pokédex has all 1,025 species from Kanto to Paldea, each with a rarity tier from common to mythic. There are two everyday ways to meet them:

• Personal encounters — !wild (also !w or !explore) finds a Pokémon only you can catch. You have up to three throws; a miss can make it flee, and it leaves if ignored for a minute. There are about 12 seconds between encounters.
• Server spawns — when an admin has spawns on, Pokémon appear while people chat. Anyone can press Catch and type the name. Events can bring chests, eggs, card drops, quizzes and raids too.

Seasonal events boost certain types in both. Spooky Season (October 1 – November 2, UTC), for example, brings out Ghost, Dark and Poison types. !event shows what’s on.

Fishing and digging

!fish casts for Water-type Pokémon about every 20 seconds. You need a rod; every trainer starts with an Old Rod, and the Good and Super Rods from !mart hook rarer Pokémon.

!dig opens a dig site every 20 minutes: eight swings to uncover three treasures — shards, scales, stars, Rare Candy and fossils that revive into Pokémon — while avoiding cave-ins.

Expeditions

Send one Pokémon away to a biome — Verdant Forest, Crystal Cave, Deep Ocean, Ember Volcano, Sky Pillar or Haunted Ruins — for 1, 4 or 8 hours. It comes back with loot. While it’s away it can’t battle, trade or be sold. You can opt into an expedition alert in /preferences alerts.

Eggs and the Daycare

Eggs come from events, rewards and the Daycare. They hatch as you keep playing — each encounter moves them along — and !eggs shows how close each one is.

At the Daycare, leave two Pokémon that get along (the same family, or anything with a Ditto). An egg turns up every six hours; collecting it costs ₽500. Babies inherit three stats from their parents, and parents from two different original trainers make a shiny four times as likely. Pokémon at the Daycare can’t battle, trade or be sold until you take them back.

Wonder Trade

Send a Pokémon away and receive a random one that another trainer sent. A few a day — up to five.

Managing your box

Your box can be sorted and filtered from its menus, or with flags such as --shiny, --legendary, --name, --type and --sort. Newer filters include --iv-min 90, --level-min 30, --origin egg, --region kanto, --tag pvp and --locked.

• Favourites (!fav) can’t be released by accident.
• Nicknames (!rename) show everywhere; leave the name empty to clear it.
• Releasing (!release) pays ₽; !release dupes releases spare duplicates.
• History — /progress history shows a Pokémon’s origin, original trainer, ownership timeline and ribbons.

Evolving

When a Pokémon has one clear evolution, !evolve does it straight away. Otherwise the evolve screen shows every option side by side with what it needs — a level, an Evolution Crystal — and how many Rare Candies to go. An Everstone stops a Pokémon from evolving.

The vault

• Lock Pokémon to block trading, selling and releasing until you unlock them.
• Tag up to 100 Pokémon at once (up to 12 tags each) and filter by tag in your box.
• Save up to 20 box searches and reopen them by name.
• Compare two of your Pokémon’s IVs, stats and origins side by side.
• Duplicate cleanup previews spare copies while keeping the best-IV copy of each species (shiny and normal counted separately). Buddies, favourites, locked, listed, traded and away Pokémon are never offered. Add cleanup:true to confirm a release of up to 200.

Pokédex and sets

!mydex shows completion region by region, and /dexguide lists the species you still need — by region, by type or for shinies. Completing regional Pokédexes is also part of later Journey chapters.

Collection Sets are 23 hand-picked groups (starters, Eeveelutions, fossils, ghosts, legendary trios and more). Your Pokédex is the progress; a finished set pays ₽, an item and a title automatically.
